Senior Trials 2022

Information

Counties Manukau Hockey Association is a Vaccinated Venue therefore all players, coaches, managers, and selectors must be vaccinated.

Because the venue is classed as a zone we can only hold 100 people.  Therefore spectators are not permitted inside the hockey gates.

We will not be holding any information sessions or powhiri.  We will be treating the weekend as games only and therefore players should just turn up, warm up, play games, and leave after in accordance with Government rules around the COVID Red Light System.

Schedule

Saturday 5th February 2022

  • 4:00pm to 6:00pm - Trial Games

Sunday 6th February 2022

  • 9:00am to 11:00am - Trial Games

NOTE – Please bring a black and white playing top. Please wear a face mask in to and out of the venue.

FAQ

  1. What if I have only had 1 vaccination?  You will not be able to attend the trials.
  2. What if the trials are cancelled just before the initial start date?  Only new changes to the COVID Red Light System imposed by the Government may force the event to be cancelled.
  3. What if I have no accommodation?  Please try to source your own accommodation, OR, please contact secretary@hockey.maori.nz ASAP for assistance.
  4. What if I don’t have my vaccine passport?  If you are vaccinated then download your vaccine passport from https://mycovidrecord.health.nz/.  Simply “Sign Up” and within minutes you will have your vaccine passport.
  5. What if I don’t want to attend due to risk of infection?  Will I still be considered for the teams?  Please contact secretary@hockey.maori.nz.  Some consideration may be given as deemed by the coaches and selectors.

Vaccination Passports

To minimise disruption to the weekend please email a photo of your Vaccination Passport to secretary@hockey.maori.nz. This will ensure that you do not get turned away from the venue on the day.
