COVID New Outbreak

Due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19 in Auckland and Rotorua NZ Maori Hockey Kaunihera sends the following message and update to all our Maori hockey players and whanau.

2020 National Maori Hockey Tournaments

  • If New Zealand comes out of Level 2 (Auckland level 3) then we carry on business as usual to run a tournament in October Labour weekend. Should this need to change due to the impacts of COVID 19, we will update all rohe – in discussion with the host rohe – as information comes to hand.
  • The NZ Maori Hockey Kaunihera will monitor the situation and report back to Rohe asap.

Sport and recreation activities are allowed, subject to conditions on gatherings, record keeping, and physical distancing where practical.
